Nadi Pariksha is an ancient Ayurvedic technique of diagnosis through the pulse. It can accurately diagnose physical, mental and emotional imbalances as well as diseases. It is a non- invasive science that enables to reach the root cause of health issues and not just address the symptoms.
The time tested and age-old natural way of healing, Ayurveda, has taught that any presence of disease in our system will be indicated as an imbalance in our ‘doshas’. The key to cure and keep our body in good health is to balance the doshas and bring back balance to the body system. The principles of Ayurveda follow the natural way to diagnose diseases and bring back balance to the body. Pulse diagnosis was initially identified in the 13th century highlighting the correlation between Nadi and Tridosha. However, Nadi Pariksha gained its significance during the 17th century. It gives a deep insight into a patient’s body type (prakruti, classified under vata/ pitta/ kapha) and the various imbalances (vikruti) in the body and mind. It provides a holistic solution based on the person’s prakruti/ vikruti and prescribes corrective lifestyle, diet, and wellness supplements. The diagnosis is non-invasive and does not require the use of medical equipment, machines etc.
Nadi Pariksha not only addresses the ailments from the level of the symptoms but also the root cause. does a complete check-up of an individual, encompassing their emotional, mental & physical ailments. For people with chronic health conditions who many have tried many treatments.
Additionally, it is also the scientific tool that enables an individual to secure their personalised wellness regimes that range from therapeutic massages, personalised diet, exercise programmes, rigorous detoxification and lifestyle transforming experiences.
With this Nadi Pariksha also forewarns about future health risks so that corrective measures can be taken to minimize and possibly avoid it. Unlike a conventional form of diagnosis where the doctor reads your prior medical reports and asks you questions, our Nadi doctors can check your pulse and be able to tell you surprising details about your current health condition, which you may or may not be aware of.
Sri Sri Tattva Nadi Pariksha camps are conducted by highly qualified and experienced BAMS/MD Ayurvedic Doctors. They have undergone intensive training in the field of Nadi Pariksha, which is an intuitive method of diagnosis. Our doctors have developed this intuitive ability and awareness after years of practicing yoga, pranayama meditation and the all-powerful Sudarshan Kriya and that why they are able to arrive at an accurate diagnosis which at times even modern equipment fails to recognise.
Critical rule to adhere prior to pulse diagnosis
For precise diagnosis, it is recommended that the diagnosis be done on empty stomach, early in the morning or three hours after food. The reason behind this principle is because, after food metabolism process begins, the diagnosis process gets distorted. You may have water during this period.
